Here at the Friends of the Library, we like to celebrate the 4th of July in the most spectacular way we know how...with a book sale of course! During the week of the 4th, come on into the library and watch as dozens of donated books flood the tables of the library, and you can shop them all to your heart's desire. Make sure you save room though, because more goodies await you on this special holiday!

Nothing beats eating a delicious baked good while reading your favorite book. We decided it was a great idea to just put them in the same event for your convenience. Our bake sale is so our friends all over the community can sign up to bring a baked goods and donate them to our fundraiser! You can bring in a treat, buy a treat, or do both!

For all you plant lovers out there, this Independence Day party doesn't stop for you! Our third and final treat for the Fourth is the Friends Plant Sale! Bring in your starters and come and get some wonderful new plants for your garden! Don't forget to label them too!

Are you ready to unlock your creative abilities? Come and learn how to paint a masterpiece with a professional artist teaching you step by step how to master the paintbrush! It is $20 for each participant. Make sure you reserve your spot early and check our pages and the calendar for when the next Paint Night is!

The Friends love Christmas here at the Library, and we have so much fun decorating trees and wreaths! Then, we put these lovely creations up for auction at our Festival of Trees! If you would like to sponsor one of these fun holiday decorations, please contact us once we start to advertise for the festival! Also, come and join in on the fun the day of the Festival by bidding on trees and wreaths, and stopping by for a visit from St. Nicholas!
